A Talbots e-Gift Card or Gift Card may be redeemed for merchandise at talbots.com, through catalogs and at any Talbots, Talbots Outlet or Clearance store in the United States and Canada. We cannot refund or reissue gift cards purchased from third parties.
At checkout, click on the link "Apply Gift Card" Enter the 10-digit number of your e-Gift Card and recipient Email, or enter the number from the back of your Gift Card or Merchandise Credit. On some cards, the number is hidden under a scratch off.
Call 1-800-TALBOTS (1-800-825-2687) and place your order. At checkout, give your Personal Shopper the 10-digit number and dollar amount of your e-Gift Card, or the card number and dollar amount of your Gift Card or Merchandise Credit.
Bring your e-Gift Card (after first printing it out), Gift Card or Merchandise Credit to any Talbots, Talbots Outlet or Clearance store and present it to a Sales Associate at time of purchase.
If the amount of your e-Gift Card is greater than the amount of your purchase, you will receive a Merchandise Credit for the difference. If the amount of your Gift Card is greater than the amount of your purchase, the difference will show as a balance on your Gift Card.
If the amount of your e-Gift Card or Gift Card is less than the amount of your purchase, the difference can be paid with any of the following payment methods: Talbots Credit Card, MasterCard®, VISA®, American Express®, Discover®, or Check/Money Order sent through the mail (check must be in U.S. funds drawn on a U.S. bank; Postal Money Orders must be in U.S. funds).

No. The Classic Awards program is for individuals only. The member named on the account is the only person who can use that card.
All Classic Awards members have rolling Style Points. Rolling Style Points means that Style Points do not expire on December 31st but are good for 12 months from the time of purchase. This gives you more time to earn $25 Style Rewards.

Classic Awards members receive a $25 Style Reward every time they earn 500 Style Points. $25 Style Rewards can be used toward any future Talbots merchandise purchase of $25 or more. $25 Style Rewards are mailed each month; they will also appear in members online Classic Awards accounts as soon as they are available for use.
$25 Style Rewards are given on the basis of Style Points earned on net purchases made with a Talbots Credit Card, or Talbots World Mastercard® or a Classic Awards Loyalty card. Net purchases include all Talbots merchandise, Gift Card and e-Gift Card purchases minus returned merchandise, refunds and other adjustments; net purchases also exclude taxes and shipping and processing charges.
$25 Style Rewards:
If you are a Talbots Credit or Talbots World Mastercard® cardholder and return an item paid for with your Talbots Credit Card or Talbots World Mastercard®, your Style Point total will be deducted by the number of Style Points originally earned on the item returned. For example, if you return an item for $50, your Style Point total will be reduced by 50 Style Points. If you are a Talbots Premier cardholder and return an item paid for with your Talbots Credit Card or Talbots World Mastercard®, your Style Point total will be deducted by the number of Style Points originally earned on the item returned. For example, if you return an item for $50, your Style Point total will be reduced by 62.5 Style Points.
Only Classic Awards Loyalty members earn Style Points on non-Talbots Credit Card or Talbots World Mastercard® purchases. If you return an item paid for with a form of payment other than a Talbots Credit Card or Talbots World Mastercard®, your Style Point total will be deducted by the number of Style Points originally earned on the item returned. For example, if you return an item for $50, your Style Point total will be reduced by 25 Style Points.
Talbots will credit the Style Reward to your customer profile. For example, if you purchased a dress for $100 and used a $25 Style Reward toward the purchase, you were billed $75 on your account. If you return the dress, Talbots will credit $75 to your original card used and provide an account balance of $25 to your customer profile to use online, in stores, or over the phone.
Purchases made with your Talbots World Mastercard® at merchants other than Talbots will appear two business days from the date of that purchase.

Please include the Return Form enclosed with your package (noting reason for return on the back), or your original store receipt. Please allow up to two billing cycles for refunds to appear on your credit card statement. Original shipping and processing fees are non-refundable.
RETURNS - INTERNATIONAL
For our international customers - Talbots merchandise purchased through our catalog or online and shipped to an address outside of the U.S., must return the product to your local store or ship directly to the TALBOTS RETURNS address above. Please contact your local customs officials for instructions and forms prior to returning your package by mail.
Talbots Gift Cards are not returnable and cannot be redeemed or exchanged for cash or check (unless required by law) or used as a credit or for payment on a Talbots Credit Card.
